So Hubby and I were at tractor supply today.....

We went in to get a couple rabbit cages they had ordered for us. And pick up some chicken food.

Of course they had a bunch of baby chicks there. A whole tub full of bantams and a tub full of cornish rocks.

They were soo cute, but I said we will have to wait because the brooder has plants in it that we cant take outside yet (I live in WI, and we still have snow)

Plus, we have 9 adult chickens, 22 that are 8 weeks old, and 25 eggs in the incubator!

HAHA, anyway hubby turns to me and says, we gotta get some of those cornish ones when your others hatch.

I have no idea where that came from! Funny thing is he was talking about making me a bigger homemade incubator today too. And this is my first time even trying to hatch eggs!

I'm sure he is thinking "chicken dinner" but it is still a shock to me! Especially since tonight he told me i couldnt order any more eggs to hatch.

My hubby actually called around to see what kind of chicks were availble in our area in March. Now that we have 27 babies and need to build some stuff the fish are biting! Go figure!

My hubby is the worst. He'd have 5 million chickens if he could. Which is fine but I want coops built first. I'm a firm believer in getting the coop built first. I try my best to keep him away from the chickies at Tractor supply.
