Well I got a call to come help an Aunt with something. That something was a solo goose in her horse pasture. We managed to corner and catch it. Its safe for tonight in a stall with a bucket of water and some hay to nest in.
While we look to see if any of the neighbors are missing one, any idea on breed? I assume its a mixed. And while I can sex chickens, waterfowl are a different ball game. Any tips?
It likely will be found a home but she kind of wants to keep it. I've been trying to convince her it will be happier with a Flock, but that might backfire and she will Get it a flock instead.
