So I got this chicken...

I inherited this from a friend he does not breed them and had no clue what kind of chicken it was, so I was hoping someone could help me out. It seems to me a mixed breed but not quite sure. Can anyone help me out?

I'd like a better view of the feet. Something looks a little wrong with her legs. (Possible patchy coloration associated with scaly leg mites.)

She was moving around just a bit when I took the photo. No mites, but thank you for attention to detail.

I do get a green or olive color egg now and again. Would like a blue one. I have a cream legbar but no blue eggs. I thought all cream legbar were blue eggers. I guess I was wrong.

They are all blue egg layers. Something is amiss with your legbar.

The Legbar club website says that chickens can lay a blue or a blue-green egg. I always thought that the breed laid blue eggs as well, but I assume the club knows what they're talking about.

The crested Legbar is a light- to medium-weight fowl which lays blue and blue-green eggs, has wild-type down off-spring which are autosexing at hatch (male and female offspring have different down color patterns). The White Legbar may have less obvious gender differences at hatch (reduced autosexing) as the down color is primarily yellow/white with faint wild-type markings.
