so I incubated 42 eggs

on day 19 I removed the turner had a suprise one baby rir chick standing next to the turner day 20 yesterday I had 8 hatch and today most of the rest have a hole and are pipping the funny thing is most of my hatches all come day 21 or 22 the one in the turner kind of shocked me had to re check my days and they are right it came out on day 19

I don't know. It seems odd if most of your hatches are commonly later. Could your temp have been a bit high? Mine are all a couple of days early--chicken or duck it doesn't seem to matter, I dialed the temp back 1.5 degrees and still have early hatches, even the ones I put under broody hens are a day early so I'm starting to think it's normal.
