So I made a bird trap and no birds are and going inside it why?

Why aren't the birds going inside my trap

Idk if I'm made a good trap for birds but I made one full keen food inside and no birds goes inside it they see it but don't go inside it, is it that I made it wrong or the darn birds are smart :/ plz tell me how I can approve it or why they are not going inside it.

If you have any scratch grains or treats, sit on the ground and hold it in your hand. Your chickens should come over to check it out. Don't grab them the first time you do this, get them used to coming to you first.

Thank u for that I would be sure to do that but I mean to catch the wild birds that fly everyday in the sky and catch one but they look at it and don't go inside :/
 
Probably not a good idea to catch wild birds... they'll be very frightened and might scratch or bite. If your siblings want to pet a bird your chicken will do just fine.
