Do you know anything about the parents?

If you know that the mother got her feathers really slowly as a chick, and the father got his fast--the chick probably can be feather sexed. Otherwise, not.

If you know the colors of the parents: a few specific combinations of parent colors produce color-sexable offspring.
 
The mother is still off but we think this is her

I don't think feather sexing will work.

Looking at the pictures of the parents, and with you being unsure whether that specific hen is the mother, I don't think color sexing will work either.
 
Well the mom is a jersey giant new Hampshire red buff orps or the one pictured obove becise she hatched out of a brown egg those are my only brown egg layers.
