so I never had roosters before................

and am pleasantly surprised. We recently got 7 roo's. 5 Sumatra's and 2 Bantams. The Japanese Bantam is kinda standoffish. The other Bantam is very freindly. The Sumatr's are incredible. Not only are they beautiful...I should say handsome... but so freindly towards humans. The follow my wife and I around, eat out of my hand less than 2 weeks after we got them. They even come to my woodworking shop door and beg for food. Is this just a Sumatra trait or did I get lucky?

I think you got lucky. Roosters can be unpredictable.
