Either Meyer or Mt Healthy will have good chicks and both are in OH. So not far for them to travel.

My local feed store orders from Cackle. I picked up my chicks from the feed store yesterday and they were all very healthy and are doing great in the brooder!

I'm a big fan of Mt. Healthy. Being so close, the chicks usually arrive overnight.

I've ordered from Welp, McMurray, and Mt Healthy with great success. I have a small town postoffice that calls me at 6:30 am as soon as the chicks arrive. Not a single death. I've settled on wyandottes as my preferred breed so I travel to the Foleys on the western end of the state to pick up their fantastic birds. www.foleyswaterfowl.com
