SO IN LOVE

I finally convinced to get my husband on board with getting more chicks.

We started off with 8, 1 died. They are now nearly 9 weeks old.

Just got 3 baby chicks yesterday, because 10 chickens is not a large flock for a 1 acre yard and 16x6 coop (though my husband would beg to differ).

I will get better pictures later when I clean their brooder but here are the 3-

Hedwig- Silver Laced Wyandotte

Baby no. 2- silver laced wyandotte

Baby no.3- golden laced wyandotte!!


I need help with names for the two babies!! (As you can see, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan even at 33!!)

Awww... raising baby chicks is so much fun! It sounds like you have a good sized flock now. We don't give our chickens individual names (we figure they have their own chicken names for each other ). But we do use names based on their breeds just my daughters and I can figure out which ones we're talking about. So the Amercaunas are called hawks, the Phoenix are called guyliners, the Egyptian Fayoumis are called redheads LOL.

We've never read the Harry Potter books, so sorry we can't help you!
