So is it true buff orpingtons go broody often? Is it the same for lavender orpingtons?

I got them from a local breeder when they were two weeks old.
I had breeder, or show quality buff Orpingtons who went broody constantly. So it depends on the parents. Broody hens often make broody offspring.

I can only have 5 chickens where I live and I already have 5! So.... I can't let my chickens have eggs to hatch if they go broody, so how do I stop them from going broody?🤔🤔🐔🐓🐓

You can't stop them going broody. You need to break them if they do go broody. Generally by putting them in a wire bottom crate slightly elevated off the ground. Sometimes just penning them away from their chosen nest site will break them too. Generally for 3-5 days.
