So is my hen potty trained??

I have noticed that one of my hens seems to hold her poo until she can get out of the coop. She is always the first one out (and in a hurry) and then immediately goes. Am I dreaming, or is she "trained"?

Broodies train themselves to only go AFTER they have left the nest for their once-a-day poop, drink and eat activity. That is why they lay such a big and smelly poop when they finally do the deed.


But I've never heard of a non-broody hen holding it in until they left their sleeping quarters...


Doesn't mean it can't happen though, I suppose...
