Today, one of my egg customers came by, and asked me if I was interested in this Rooster. I am pretty sure he is an EE...but...whatcha think??

His legs are a very dark slate/green.

The picture doesn't show it well....but his tail is irredesent green/purple.
So...whatcha think?? EE??

Well, he doesn't look like any EE I've ever seen! His comb looks like an over-large cushion comb, which would be strange to find in an EE. Also, his tail is rather large for that "breed". Altogether, he looks more like a game bird body type, and he doesn't have any muffs or tufts at all. So I think he's just a handsome barnyard cross.

He looks similar to my clean faced/tailed araucana, but that comb is wild

That one looks excactly like my black star hen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
of course except for the rooster tail feathers.
Wow! Pretty bird!

Tsagirl, I wish you were closer, I would give him to you. I only took him to keep him out of a soup pot. He is a pretty roo...and I really DONT need another roo...Hmmmmmm...Now, what do I do with another "mutt" rooster...whome I have called King Charles.

He really struts....and is pretty friendly, once you get him in your arms. He still just needs to adjust a bit.

better pictures would be able to tell easier, with the face/comb and body type he is part oriental gamefowl... the other half? I have no clue..

ps....i love the brassy back coloring on him
