So Mad!!!!!

If I know I'm getting eggs I put a cooler on my back porch, well it's not an inclosed porch its just steps with enought room to put a couple of coolers on, the driver comes up and puts them in the cooler. I have a couple of those ice packs I put in the cooler to keep them cold. I take them out everynight and put them back in every morning for couple of days until I get the eggs. And your right my rural mailbox doesn't hold the package's. I hope theyre ok for you. Keep us updated.

So sorry to hear about your postal delivery and your eggs. I hope you get a good hatch.

I bought eggs from a lady off of here and she put 'call for pick up do not deliver' all over the box. They still got delivered and left in the sun with the temp over 100F here. I'm hoping for a good hatch. I called the post office and got an 'I'm sorry we had a substitute today'. Lets just say that I told her next time get someone that could at least read... I haven't been able to catch the actual driver to ask 'nicely' for next time.

People that don't care bug me to no end

my po man left an xbox 360 sitting on my front porch once, it was in its orginal box, so you could look at it and see it was xbox. he didnt knock or ring the bell or anything. and i call and complain when they stuff junk in my box that doesnt fit.

I don't have a dog inside the fence or the house. The dogs are in a kennel out close to the barn. I have a feeling it might have been a substitute mail carrier yesterday because Donnie (the regular guy) always takes good care of my eggs for me. I went ahead and put them in the incubator right away instead of letting them sit since they had already been incubating all day. Hopefully I still get a good hatch. My luck with trying to get some pheasants just isn't very good. My first attempt was with some eggs purchased off ebay and none of them developed. Now I bought eggs from two different people off BYC and they arrive the same day and get left out in the hot sun. Ahh!

If there was a carrier release on the box the carrier will leave it. The words "carrier leave if no response" or "carrier release" means the sender is requesting the package be left at the house even if no one is home. Those words
release the carrier from any responsibility if the package
is stolen.

The sender does this for the customer's convenience. You dont have to go pick it up.
