That would pronably work for buying an Older oneI like the concept of a 'protector' for my flock but i totally am lost how ones does it... i mean... i have have 3 drakes, i know goslings grow at a rapid pace in comparison too.
Or are you better to buy a fully grown one.. i ran across an ad for a gorgeous Sebastopols gander.. lol They stated he guarded well and loved little ones?
Not really, ever seen the teeth on dogs? geese are really no match, might be able to bluff one dog off but more than one dog the geese don't really have a chance. Cats I don't think would mess with a grown goose unless your talking Bobcat or Mountain lion.Hmm...Okay.Can't have Roosters..But I heard Geese CAN protect agains't domestic cats and dogs(small probably)...![]()
