So much for keeping my girls (And Roo's) out of the nesting boxes!

So we are taking advice from everyone about our chickens sleeping and pooping all over our nesting boxes. So we draped some fabric over them and came to check on them and found this....

I think the chickens are laughing at us..

So now we have to nail and un-nail it every day and night

Actually, i don't care if my chickens sleep in their nest boxes. i just pick out the poo in the morning.

Did you see the post about which breeds were smartest? I felt dumb thinking how many times mine had outsmarted me. I feel so much better knowing you have crafty little schemers too!

I have a feeling this isn't going to work

At the end of the 2 weeks when I take the fabric down, I believe I will go in the next morning and they all will be sleeping in them again. They love them!

Although, I have to admit how frustrating it is to try to keep them from someplace they shouldn't be!
