So my DH thinks

I just went and bought some high power squirt guns each one of us carry one and if he comes at one of us or another chicky aggressive we blast him. He does not like it at all. So I told my boys if and only if he is getting aggressive I want them to squirt him until he backs off. I also told the boys if I catch them squirting him when it is not needed they will be in the house for the day. So I hope it works I do want to keep him but not if this keeps up.

Either that or he will get water in his lungs, catch pneumonia, and die miserably. I suppose, either way, the problem is solved...

We have this friend who had a Rooster just like the one you are describing. Anytime someone pulled into their yard,he'd make a mad dash for the car. He'd try and flog anyone and everyone who was not family. They ended up leaving a big stick in their drive way for people coming over,to fend the Rooster off. Only thing was, you'd have to beat the rooster to the stick. LOL

Like someone else stated...it's not very often you see Ugly Roosters...you can always get another pretty one.

Good luck with the water guns!

Some you can break, some not. And sometimes when you think he's been broken, he attacks again. It's one thing for DH to handle him but quite another when a child is in danger. He could easily take out a child's eye. If you're going to keep him, at least confine him.

"So my DH thinks"
love the title, didn't realize this would be about a 'roo.
