wasn't a total flop, I got one baby out of it, but the other 7 didn't. I finally gave up today at day 25. I checked the insides to see what, if anything, went wrong. I've since determined that the temperature was too high. I had the thermometer staying at roughly the same 99.5. Turns out it was closer to 101.5-101.9. Fertility was 100% though. I tweaked the other batch so hopefully it does better.
 
Yup. That's my motto. I just candled the new eggs (due August 28) and there was 1 dud, 2 unknowns, and 13 promising eggs. Hopefully I end up with 13-15 babies this time.
