so my hen has brooded some eggs and they have hatched!

For anyone wondering, I decided to just let nature take its course. I put a little feeder with some starter grower crumbles in there and a little waterer for a couple weeks. After a few days she started taking them out and about. now they eat out of the regular feeder and waterer. They are starting to wander away from mom a little more, they get pecked from time to time but go running back to mom. It seems like a few of my hens would REALLY like to get ahold of one of them, when the pressure gets too hard mom calls them away from the flockand they go off on their own for a while. For some reason my ducks have taken a real interest in the momma hen and the chicks, I am afraid the ducks are going to have to go. I have caught them chasing the chicks and momma several times now.

Here they are for progress pics. I believe they are barred rock and leghorn mutts. It is interesting how they came in 2 sets of 4 each set seemingly favoring on set of genes.
