So my SCAM worked on my husband....

Oh, I had to laugh. I wish that worked with my husband. No, see, the roles are reversed here. He's not allowed to touch MY power tools... Um, I mean miter saw, table saw, scroll saw, jig saw, recip saw, drills, sanders... Not even the hammer or crow bars. He can't build a thing to save his life. I bet my neighbors were laughing about how I was out in the garage working like a man to build my latest repurposed coop. All my husband does is holds large pieces I can't hold and fasten at the same time.

You can see all 3 of my builds in my profile - Both the default and the uploads. ;)

Well you guys are getting closer to me, Reyvaughn I see you are my neighbor in PA. Seeing how you sound so talented in the building department, come give a helping hand. HA HA ha,.. I tried to upload a picture because the first section of the coop is done, but it kept giving me temporary error message and wouldn't allow me. But tonight will be the first night the silkies sleep in there NEW house. They were NOT happy though, when I closed the door, I can hear them all talking and talking and talking. They were giving me a thing or two..

I'd be happy to build the coop if DH took care of the kids while I did it, made dinner, laundry, food shopping, etc...etc... But after working outside all day and having to come in, plan dinner, homework, baths, etc phooey! You did what you needed to so the job got done! It's a true sign of management

I do all of those things too except we go get groceries together, I also do the laundry etc... I also built/renovated our coop but do you think I can get my wife to go feed the girls, not a chance lol.

Here's a thought for you, there's a thing called "Strike" tell them you are going on strike for about a week, then you have a reason to get away and help. HA HA HA..

I tried that technique years ago with laundry and dishes. It worked for a while, 'till I lost my carpenter job and decided to become a stay at home dad. Now I am the critical one about how dishes and laundry are done.
And luckily for my wife, since I have twenty years of carpentry experience, building coop is pretty **** easy for me. And a deck, and a porch swing, and a new fence, and- you get the idea....

NOW WAIT A MINUTE, there was No interuptions, We have a DVR with dishnetword, we pay EXTRA for it, he can record those silly Nascar races at ANYTIME. ANYTIME.. LOL..

It's not like he'd miss anything anyways. If he left and came back an hour later, they'd still be on the same track doing the same 4 left turns... Oh, wait! I can't guess what's next! Oh... Left turn. -eye roll- I am actually glad I married a man who doesn't think his life needs to revolve around the sports' seasons. No sports, no nastycar, no wwe (AKA, man's soap opera), nothing! YAY!
