After complaining about the smells from the small duck brooder currently housing (5) little ones and taking up residence on our kitchen table this past week. I told her if she picked up supplies I'd clean it after work and look for a better option when I had some free time. Got home last night to find this in my bath tub.

My tiny little ducklings magically multipled. (I told her not to feed them after midnight!!)
So after realizing I now had a shortage of living space I whip this together in the middle of the night.

So I guess she got the ducks out of her kitchen after all!!!!

Feeding after midnight is def against the rules .. Nice additions though Nice brooder too but as fast as they grow you'll need to build onto it real soon.

Ducklings need feed and water 24/7 till about 5 to 6 weeks old.
Nice quick pen but they will quickly out grow that too..

I plan on using this pen as a time out/ medical isolation unit. I made little handles to move it around.

Thanks. last year no way I could have knocked that out in 2 hours last night. After this year of trying to be more self sustainable I have gotten pretty handy.

My plans for the ducks is to finish the other half of the shed and have to separate coops. Lucky my lone Muscovy currently lives with our chickens, they took him in after our first flock didn't make it he was the sole survivor..
