OMG when you said "sorry my daughter cut off her head." I took you literally, as in she CUT OFF her head then I realized what you meant! LOL

Thank you so much, they are truly my babies!!! I wont put them outside yet because I'm afraid that they will get cold even with a heat lamp, my Hubby thinks I am crazy!!! LOL He's probably right!!

LOL Emzyyy I wondered if I should have worded that different!!!

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but understand that "totally tame roosters" frequently become human aggressive. Many people stop socializing chicks once they are evidently roosters so that they do not become too comfortable around humans. Hens are another story.

I'm new to the chick thing too so my tendancy has been to cuddle them all. I have 35 8 week old straight run of various breeds and nearly all the ones that seek me out for perching and petting when I sit with them are roos! It is going to be difficult to decide which ones to keep.

The funny thing is, is that the ones that get the most cuddles are the roos and I think I have 3. The others seem to tolerate the cuddling, but the roos just eat it up! The sad thing though is that I only want to keep one, so it is a toss up between Buck who is mine, and my daughters who is Jelly Bean. I want them to go to forever homes not food homes, I just can't bear the thought of someone eating them!!! LOL
