My husband finally agreed to let me get some chickens, after he picked out our chickens he decided it would be manly to build a coop himself. We made a family project of painting it with the colors the kids picked, now we have a super awesome coop and run that only needs a few more finishing touches (latches, stakes, trim, and the final placement in the yard) and we are in business!
The bungee cord is temporary until he runs to the hardware store to get the last of the latches and stakes and stuff. There will also be a door I can lock on the coop, just needs to be added later today.
