How incredibly sad. I hope she will improve somehow.

I was in CVS recently and the woman behind the pharmacy counter was trying to sell me a flu shot. I told her I had never had one. (I'm 47). Then she admitted she'd never had one either because she was leary of them, too.

I will not be getting the h1n1 vaccine or the flu shot vaccine. The same doctor told me that there were not preservatives in either. I went to the pharmacy giving flu shots and asked what was in it.... Guess what THIMERISAL!!!! NO WAY am I gonna end up in ICU like every other female in my family has that has taken the flu shot!!!!!!
My eyes swell shut (thats not even talking about the horrendious pain i am in) for days just using eye drops with those stinking preservatives in them.
I would rather take my chances on going to the hosp. NOT make it happen.

My DD will not be getting either vaccine due to the family hx.

I think the less we introduce to our bodies, the better. The last time I had an antibiotic was 25 years ago, and I'm still alive. Go figure.

Practice good hygiene - don't touch your eye or nostril area with your fingers and you'll be fine.
