HI C!
I am weening myself from the computer now that I have gotten over a lot of my imposed depression, but I still check in on all of you.
I am so sorry about losing your kitty.
My Pumpkin is getting on in years and I am preparing myself, but She is a dog among dogs, and it will be very difficult. So I spend more special time with her and kiss her on the forehead more than usual. Time goes too quickly.
I guess life is change and it waxes and wanes like the moon, and good things come from unexpected events... but, it is sad to lose a friend.

CoyoteMagic, I was so sorry to read about Butterscotch. It's difficult to lose a special friend.

I know that she knew she was loved and that is a comfort.
Good news on the EC! Great!
I hope you continue to get good news.

Luna, sounds as if you are doing pretty darn good. You go girl!

deerman, prayers that the meds are doing their job and there is no spreading!

I pray for you all on this thread that whatever your battle may be, support, love and kindness surround and keep you and that you remain strong and find the help you need to be victorious!
Blessings to you all!!!

I am doing well also, my family is pulling together and pressing on. We do have another long cancer battle ahead of us though. My Dad's brother has throat cancer. They found it a few weeks ago and are treating it aggressivly. I am praying for good results. He is tollerating the chemo well so far and that is encouraging

They've come a long way with chemo treatments. Hopefully they got it early and he'll be fine.

YOU GO GIRL!!!! I still hang out of Facebook a lot, have been trying to get more done than I used to do. I've been knocking out a lot of quilts lately.

It's hard when you have loose a friend, even if they are a fuzzy one. They touch us in places where no one else can. I cried myself to sleep the other night. I had went to bed. I have slept in the buff since hitting menopause(saves on having to find jammies in the morning that I've flung off during night sweats lol) I realized I was chilly right at the top of my shoulders and down the center of my back, the "Butter Spot" She would lay there at night during winter months and keep both of us warm. She wasn't going to be there anymore. As I sat up to put my tanktop back on, the heater clicked on for the first time this year. Butter trying to keep me warm? I crawled back under the covers and woke Lurchie with my sniffling. We talked and cried and I eventually fell asleep in his arm. Give Pumpkin a kiss for me too!!
