On a fun side note, one of the chicks decided to try scratching on the floor and discovered the bottom of the brooder. This weird new floor is now super fascinating!

What's the temp under that lamp? They may get overheated with the lamp that low.

I was thinking the same thing I had be mine up quit a bit more
