Football teams/owners/coaches don't care about the character of their players. Just whether they can play. Years ago at San Jose State college a girl woke up to find a man in her dorm room standing over her. He was naked from the waist down. He had scaled up the outside of the building and crawled in the window of her second story room. Turned out he was one of the star football players. Other than maybe getting his hands slapped (very lightly) no disciplinary action was ever taken against him as far as I know. Boys will be boys and all that. Besides, there was a big game coming up and they couldn't do without him.

The guy has done the court ordered time, & admitted to the crime.

He's paid his debt. Let him move on & hope he learned a lesson.

Regardless of how many dogs were injured Micheal could not change or POTENTIALLY change the outcome of an NFL game by fighting dogs.

He Pleaded and was sentenced according to the guidelines of the Law if it had been your uncle/ a person that works on your car/ the grocery store clerk would anyone be in an uproar because he got out of jail and the autoshop/ grocery store offered him his job back?? I dont think so. There are lots of criminals that have done thier time and are back in society doing what they do best, which in this case is throwing and running a football.

He did his time just like any other criminal. He deserves to apply his trade if someone will hire him. The only problem I have is that for some reason sports figures are role models to our children. In that respect he needs to do something to let kids know that his behavior was unacceptable. maybe start a rescue for fight dogs and have some commercials aimed at kids.

What if he was a plumber. Should he not be allowed to snake toilets?

Just started thinking about this I had a friend in HS went to jail and did nothing but LIFT when he came out he was HUGE. With no threat of injury and nothing to do but lift I bet Micheal is worth more now than he ever was. I hope he worked on leg strength too. Just think Fast and able to throw 100 yard spiral, now if he can remember what to do when the center bends over to snap the ball.
