so they let Michael Vick back into the NFL?

Quote:
AGAIN NFL is a JOB, same as digging a ditch, driving a cab, teaching in a classroom why should the NFL players be punished and put out of work because they broke a law, but the comman worker shouldnt be, Now who is comparing apples to oranges you cant have it both ways either no one gets to work if they get convicted or everyone gets to work if convicted once they have served thier time they should be able to go back to work. Should a DWI person be able to drive a cab I would say NO, but where does fighting dogs make a football player a liability on the football field?

Again with the double standards. There should not be two sets of rules, if a owner of a NFL team wants to hire a dogfighter that has served his time so be it same as if a grocery store owner wants to hire a person convicted of DWI or Breaking and Entering or Assault. Once the DEBT to society has been served let the person go on with his/her life unless they can be a threat to society by continueing to work.

He "served his time?!?!?" Are you KIDDING ME?!? What about those poor dogs who now have to live the rest of their lives remembering what that ANIMAL did to them?!? Have you ever owned a Pit Bull? They are the sweetest, most loyal dogs you will ever meet! They were originally bred as babysitters for children, not as money makers in a dog fighting ring! And what about the dogs, etc. that were used as bait?!? He "served his time..." GIVE ME A FREAKIN' BREAK!!!!!!!

I've read up a bit on pitbulls, but im always fascinated by history, tell us more about their origins. I assume they must be named after the baby pits where they would watch and care for the children.

Again with the double standards, He served his time as mandated by judge and meeting the recommendations of the States Attorneys. I am not argueing what he did was right, I dont think it was, do I think that he should serve more, yes, but I think other crimes should have longer minimums too. DWI and out on probation, Assault with a deadly weapon, released with time served while awaiting trial(3 months). Time served(while released on bond) for Vehicular Homicide. Compare that to killing/maiming a dozen(or more) dogs, and your barking up the wrong tree saying he should be in Jail because he is a celebrity/ball player but the everyday joe should be released because there isnt enough room in prison for someone who KILLED ANOTHER HUMAN.. forgive me for saying so but take all the dogs you want and they dont stack up to one human life.
