AGAIN NFL is a JOB, same as digging a ditch, driving a cab, teaching in a classroom why should the NFL players be punished and put out of work because they broke a law, but the comman worker shouldnt be, Now who is comparing apples to oranges you cant have it both ways either no one gets to work if they get convicted or everyone gets to work if convicted once they have served thier time they should be able to go back to work. Should a DWI person be able to drive a cab I would say NO, but where does fighting dogs make a football player a liability on the football field?
Again with the double standards. There should not be two sets of rules, if a owner of a NFL team wants to hire a dogfighter that has served his time so be it same as if a grocery store owner wants to hire a person convicted of DWI or Breaking and Entering or Assault. Once the DEBT to society has been served let the person go on with his/her life unless they can be a threat to society by continueing to work.
