People(not all, but fans of said teams) pay the owners LOTS of money for a seat to sit in and watch the Players play. If those that cant get seats want to watch they pay cable companies LOTS of money (some of which is again given to owners of the teams so they can hire good players)

Also in most cases anyone who drinks/smokes/gambles pays SIN taxes which is given to Cities that use said monies to built Stadiums for the owners to have thier teams play the sports in.

I understand the theory but not the principle.

For my own society in my own country I hope he comes out for the better......I will offer prayers of support that he changes for the better....why would I wish that he didnt - so that he could go and make more misery upon our society? That would be ridiculous thinking IMO I hope he uses his status to change other people....

I have seen personally what can become of a man who is big into dog fighting. I have seen many dog fights in my life and was raised with them for years. My dad is a completly changed man and helps so many now. I have seen with my own eyes what good can become of bad in situations like this. Now, my dad is so blessed..he owns his own company and spends every dime and moment of time he has to help others. It is amazing the difference in him now and back then......so, you can't tell me people can't change for the better and I would never wish anything bad upon anyone trying to change -
