Excellent. It definitely looks pip-like, just not quite a hole. But I figure chickie knows what she's doing. This is our single most important egg, and the first to hatch. It's a mix of my son's silkie and my daughter's bantam. They're beside themselves in anticipation!

Just wanted to say Thank you to all, I was going to ask this question myself, but found this thread first! Today is day 18 for me too, I'm about 10.5 hours into day 18, and I had a chick pip 6.5 hours ago, and done nothing since, but now I can Worry less, knowing they can take 24 hours to decide to work again, LOL. Thank yall!

6-48 hrs from pip to hatch... but can still be more or less and anywhere between day 19-24....
