So today I figured out where all the eggs have been going....

I opened the nest box and got a really scary surprise! This snake had just eaten the egg... Now I'm going to be afraid every time I check for eggs!

We do not have snakes. Our hens, the flighty Leghorn ones started a colection of 28 eggs before they went broody up on top of my coop. Ps I Didnt know util my Leghorn hen wasnt on the rafters.

That is a really scary-looking snake! Yikes!!! Glad it didn't hurt the chickens in addition to stealing the eggs!
