my wonderful husband found a nest of 10 duck eggs! LOL!!

I was going out every day looking around trying to see if she was laying yet. She's just 5 months old. Well we have our answer. She had her nest hidden!!

Little stinker!! YAY!! She's finally laying. I know its her because the other two are two young yet.

    Duck eggs! Wooohoooo

They do like to cover their nests, dad gum it!! Mine was sneaky but not for long. After letting out the birds one morning, I spied on her and found her going to my ornamental grasses to lay her eggs. It is a neat find, isn't it![IMG]

Awesome!! Mine like to hide their eggs too. I didn't find any eggs this morning, and I hope it's because they are going into a moult (their feathers look AWFUL--they REALLY need a moult). But I fear it may just be that they've found a place to hide their eggs that I haven't thought to look yet. Argh! [IMG]
