Delaware roosters are the BEST! I have THREE of them, so I should know. SUPER Gentle. I call them giant teddy bears. They are people roosters... They follow our lead and work as a team to manage the flock. All of my delaware roosters act like I am crazy if I throw treats on the ground. They stand right by me and wait for me to feed it to them out of their hands...

They are my favorite roosters! Not skiddish, not flighty, just good boys!

I bought 8 black sex links from TSC. All roosters, was all they had left. Which was ok. I wanted a rooster incase anything ever happened to mine. He was almost 6 years old and survived several animal attacks. He died 3 weeks after I got the chicks.
I'm thinking I got 8 chances of 1 of these chicks growing up to look just like him or atleast close. None will have his personality. They aint even the same breed. Good news is I have 4 pullets.
I DON'T TRUST TSC WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR CHICKS!!!!
