so um, how young do calls fly?

When carrying Clyde to his bath last night he was doing the flapping in my hands, i noticed Bonnie flapping in the crate yesterday...

yes, these birds are still in my house! ) just wanting to know when to watch, i know they are capable of full flight, drake and duck. They'll be 8wks this weekend coming!
 
Wow. With the runners I had no worries about flying. Kind of neat they can fly, but nerve-wracking and I am guessing you're gauging when to clip wings?

Whenever I see pictures of calls I just melt.

The runners were in our house for three months, by the way. For perfectly good reasons

well not sure lol kinda unsure what to do, they are NOT being free ranged, they are much to small and i have big hawks they seem to leave my Muscovy alone but calls? they are really small especially Bonnie. On the right is Bonnie, left is Clyde, yes they are in the bathtub

he's a grey/gray? mallard her a blue you can see the greying on the feathers on her back! That ring bobbing about with them is small, like 2 inches round.
