My conure has flown away! It's my fault too. I forgot to close his cage door and opened the back door to go outside. He flew right out. Of course last night would be a night we had a thunderstorm. He was so high in a tree last night I couldn't get him and now he's gone completely. I have no idea where he is. I'm so torn up about it. I put his cage outside hoping he shows back up. However, I expect to never see him again. ;(

If he is hand tame he should come back if not keep searching if it was me i would keep searching until i found it.

I agree! I would keep searching. Poor thing probably doesn't know what to do.

Yes I've been searching today, but I haven't seen or heard him. We live in a very wooded area that borders a state park so he could be anywhere. I pray he comes back home. The forecast is calling for sleet and freezing rain for tonight and tomorrow.

An sorry you bird got out, .you need to make flyers missing bird, the faster you do it the better chance you have.
