So what are you doing this Valentines Day?

We are spending the night at home.....DH stopped on the road and picked some wild flowers/weeds for me and probably we will cook something on the grill. We are watching gkid tonight so our oldest DS can go out.

We don't make a big deal out of any of the holidays.....but this one is somewhat nice because we can help our kids to "learn" the fine art or romance LOL!
 
DH is cooking dinner, I will do dessert!
Tomorrow we are babysitting the grandchildren so my DD & SIL can go out to dinner.

We are hosting a teen party, which will end in the early evening. Hopefullu, DH and I will be able to make time to listen to some jazz and drink some wine at home.
I am the "wine & dine" type, but my gripe is that on Valentines Day the restaurants are too crowded and the good ones do "special menus" which are special because they charge more $$$.
 
My twin sis is coming over with her hubby and they're bringing the steaks and sweet potato fries. I'm making a salad and coconut layer cake.

OK, to revise what I said I was going to do, here's what I've done so far:
* went to the Madrona Yarn & Fiber Marketplace, bought 3 skeins of yarn
* rode the bus to a swanky grocery store to buy the fixings for a nice dinner: steak, wine, appetizers, caesar salad, bread, chocolate
* made mint chocolate mousse for DBF
* currently in the process of cleaning the house & getting it ready for a nice evening.
