So what did we get?

    This is a pic of OUR FIRST Hatched out Peep EVER!!! It started out as all black (when it hatched) but seems to be turning a silvery grey. It's a cross between a Barred Rock hen and our EE roo. (or our Silkie roo)

    I'm showing the top of it so someone can tell me what they think it'll come out as...LOL


    Here's the peeps we got to keep it company since it was the only one that hatched out of the set.

    Anyone know what they are?

    He is definitely blue! What do you have in blue or splash or possibly black? Are those feathers down his legs? He sure is cute, maybe it's a gurl?

    The legs are IMO clean looking. But the possible crosses are barred rock x EE roo or barred rock x black silkie.



    Would a black silkie possibly give us a blue coloring? Or do baby silkie chicks look that color? I'm new to silkies.
