so what do you do with your ducklings?

i have two two week old ducklings and i want to make sure i am doing the best for them. i have 14 more in the incubator and 4 goose eggs so now would be a good time to find out if im doing right or wrong!!

i have them in the brooder under the lamp which is a good temp. im raising it up every week. keeping them clean and watered and fed. letting them out for a run around the front room a few time a day and taking them outside when its sunny, they even had a swim in the pond for 5-10mins yesterday. otherwise they are having a swim about in the bath as often as i can let them.

they get peas as a treat and some meal worms too.

anything else i should be doing or am i doing ok so far?

no, you sound like a great duckie mom thers not alot more that you havnt done, actualy i cant think of anything you havent done, i think you should give yourself a big pat on the back! well done

haha, thanks that just put a big smile on my face. im a first time duckie mum, as you probably worked out.

ive had guinea pig babies, rabbit babies, pups, kittens and a foal but this is my first time with ducks!!!
