So what does the Ovation thing mean??

i was wondering the same thing. when i first signed up it said i had 10 and i looked at mine awhile back and noticed it said 12 so i guess someone gives them to ya. heres what mine says

how i got the first 10 is beyond me. if you can get em i'd bet you could give em but i ain't figured that part out yet

See down on the bottom of the box of the post....there's a little square with a green thumb's up in it. If you click on that, you can give an ovation. Use it when you really like a post or if the post provided good information. When they instituted the ovation program, (which was fairly recently) they gave everyone 10 just to get started.

It's like a "Thumbs Up" that other members give you when they like your post or comments. I think that you start out with ten.... Look at the bottom of the post. You can also give them. Hint, Hint...

welcome! you start out with ten. every time you click the little thumbs up at the bottom of a post, you lose a ovation, and the person that posted the post you 'ovated' gets another one.
