I have a 5 acre hobby farm devoid of livestock, so I am jumping in with Chickens. I am really only interested in Heritage birds, and will be raising the following for sure, and maybe one or two others.
White Chanticler (Shant-i-claire)
Partridge Chanticler's (Which I hope someday be officially referred to as Albertans)
am currently incubating the two Chanticlers breeds now, along with
Ameraucanas
White & Black Jersey Giants
Silver Grey Dorkings
Australorps
Hopefully I get a great hatch rate, and I can trade some of the chicks of one breed to acquire different Chanticler genetics.
