so which of you has the answer to this? duck behaviour

My ducks are always splish splashing in water, including under the hose pipe and in the spinkler...
So we have had just a smal shower of rain!, and they all looked disgusted and ran for shelter.......
why do they spend ages playing under the hose pipe, then panic when it rains??

My ducks are like that too. They actually hunch their necks down into their shoulders the same way people do when they get rained on. I think some don't like it at first because they didn't "choose" to be getting wet, and they're a bit displeased it's being forced on them. lol

My ducks like rain, downspouts, water in pans and buckets, but dislike sprinklers! Go figure!

It can be absolutely ripping rain outside and my ducks and geese act like its a typical day. They are hunting bugs and dabbling like usual. The chickens and turkeys.....not so much.
