Soaking wet duckling!

Found it stuck in my pond treading water up to its neck. Seems weak. Got it out of the water and put it under a heating lamp. Idk what to do. Poor thing is shivering.

Poor thing.
A heat lamp will warm it up. Make sure (you probably already did this) the water you provide isn’t cold water but on the level of lukewarm.

When I got it out of the pond I put it on the ground and the moms started fighting over it and kept grabbing it. Makes me so worried. How long should I keep it under the lamp?

All 5 of my ducklings follow one female and the other is more of a body guard to keep the other ducks and me away from the babies. I would prefer to put it back with the mom and soon and it’s safe. Do I wait until it’s dry completely? It’s looking much better but not completely dry.

It’s still shaking but I’m not sure if that’s from the cold or it’s scared bc it’s in a foreign place
