I have a 9 month old silkie pullet who is sweet, becoming a hit more assertive, but also not the brightest. Its pouring today, the coop has a large covered area as well as the chickens can go right under the coop. There is a small run on once side where the little silkie girl has spent some time and just drenched herself. Its about 50 degrees here today, but will be getting up to 70 in the next few days. She doesnt want to go inside. Should I dry her before bed? Should I dry her now? Its starting to get windy...my silkie rooster is dry as a bone.
