Soap Makers Help!

I totally forgot that yesterday I got some yellow dock root. Has anyone ever infused with this? It's supposed to give a marron/mauve color.

Alright I think I have mae up my mind. I am going to let her know that I am going to pass on this and that hopefully she enjoys her samples. Anyone have any idea on how to nicely go about doing this?

Speaking of this. . We should post some of our experiments with natural colors onto the reference thread.

It's used as a suppliment, but when infused in oil, gives soap a maroon/mauve color. At least it's supposed to. I'm going to infuse it this weekend. I'll post pictures and results once I soap it. Sandalwood powder is suposed to give a red color. I couldn't find any of that at the health food store though.

I just sent her an email letting her know that I would just have to pass on it. I was going to have to soap my butt of just to keep up anyway if she decided to buy them. Thanks everyone for all your input and thoughts about it. At least it got me off my butt and got me to register my business

I wish I had gotten back here sooner. This would have been a great opportunity to present her with the cosemetic claims and FDA liability she is flirting with not to mention the liability of relabling soaps without giving the maker credit.
