. This sounds like something I need to try! What ratios did you use??​

Four my four pound batch I used 2oz lavender, 1.5 oz rosemary, .5 oz cinnamon. The sea kelp gave it a slight scent too. It was my first attemp at a blend. I am putting black pepper oil on my next order, I love the scent of the bar you scent.

Morgaine I like the label you have in your pic and so does DH. He even raised his eyebrows when he siad it lol. It looks great. I might have to borrow your idea. I thought I was doing better with my labels but yours look great

I like the labels, Morgaine. I wonder if you could meet the shop owner's request by using colored papers - a lavender paper for a lavender soap, a light green for mint, slightly darker green or greenish brown for your tweed soap, etc. If that would meet her needs, it wouldn't require you to completely revamp your design, allowing you to keep the natural look.

I got two new accounts today!

One of the B&B's in Round Top and the health food store in Brenham just ordered! I'm delivering 30 soaps tomorrow to the health food store and then another 15 in a month(She wants some of the new scents which won't be ready till then)

I also got some spirulina powder too. And my tank came in and I love it! No waste and now I get 17 perfect bars per batch instead of 14-16. I might actually be in black much sooner than I thought!

So anyone soaping this week?

!! And I just spent all money on sheep shears. It is so hard to choose - fiber or soaping, soaping or spinning, spinning or buying books, books or buying new fabrics. Arrrrg! LOL

I'm staying far away from the spinning thread!

I've always wanted to learn how spin thread on a spinning wheel. I like to knit but nothing fancy or complicated for me. I've had a hankering to do some quilting again after seeing everyones quilts here, but I have all that all packed away for now.

But yeah, I know what you mean, although nothing has ever really captured me soaping.

I do buy a few things from there, although I get most of mine from College Station HFS. I can't wait to see the soap! Is it going to be one color or swirled?
