Beautiful bars by the way!!!!!!!!!

It's just strange that it's only those parts.

If they pass the tongue test, and appear otherwise fine, I'd simply plane off the top. Removing a thin layer can reveal a pattern more dramatically sometimes, too. They're pretty!

Thats what I hoped I could do but I wanted to make sure first. I read in one of my books that if they have crystals you should throw them away but I sure as heck didn't want to trough them away.

You could always "biopsy" a few bars just to be sure that the weird spots don't go all the way through. Cut a couple into slices lengthwise, and a couple broadwise, see what you find.

I always plane the tops off of mine just because I like the whole thing to be smooth and the color consistent all over. If they're swirled, it makes the bars look like a marble countertop!

Never throw out...rebatch instead.

I love the mold! It was so easy to get it apart (once I used the locking visegrips on the dividers instead of just pliers). And the liner made the rest of the job a piece of cake. Here is the picture of the soaps fresh from the mold...

Now to go clean up the mold so I can make more today!

A question for those that use the Kelsei molds, is it safe to put them in the dishwasher?

By the way chiknwhisperer, the soap table looks great.

The dish washer here is me lol. Thanks for the compliment

Your soaps look great

I can't wait till I get more oils so I can get back to soaping. I'm having real bad withdrawals lol

chiknwhisperer I'm so glad that you were able to save such pretty soap! I wonder what it could be? Some kind of ash maybe?
I think I like your display table better with the shelf in the middle, draws your eyes into the middle and then you look to the sides. And your sign looks geat! Maybe you can try to get some matching table clothes in a light pink to go with it? I've been looking at the thrift stores for a small tan one but haven't had any luck finding the right size.

breconbcs Very pretty soaps! They look so sunny and bright. Did you scent them?

I am almost completly sold out of soap! We had a great weekend, better than our first day, this time we broke the $300 mark!! I only have 6 OMH, 14 plain ole soap, and 8 rose geranium left! I couldn't believe it. I'm not sure what to do, I have only two batches that will be ready by next week, but in two weeks I'll have 10 batches ready. I'm debating about skipping next weeks market and just going when I'll have all the soap ready, but I just don't feel right about not being there. I had one lady who bought my soap the first day come and buy over $50 worth Saturday as gifts and she was telling me how much she loved the soap. It felt so good. I am really really enjoying doing the market. OK, I've got more soap to make!
