Soap Makers Help!

Thank you Morgaine. I wasn't sure b/c that seller had "Essential" in the title. I want real, natural, scents, so I need to stick to essential oils. I'll have to come up with a different blend I guess.

That is great with the molds cheeptrick! I'm going to have to borrow your idea lol. Then I could keep up better then what I am right now.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I should charge for a 5oz bag of Lavender bath salt?

ETA: Cheeptrick, do have spaces that the dividers slide in to?

I do not...and it worked fine. I made it pretty snug and lined the bottoms with double layered freezer paper. The divider is only placed in the center of the large well...for dividing the swirled batch in half...it worked perfectly. Just a little remnants...but it slipped out lovely. I'll post photos...

I just made a rebatched loaf of ROSEWOOD...husband said it looked like the Canned MEAT SPAM when I sliced it!

Here, check out these places

If they are essential oils they will always say ex: "Orange essential oil" and they usually tell you what method was used and what country it came from.

It's floap...I was going to cut it with my cookie cutters to embed it in another loaf. I cannot stop thinking it looks like SPAM.

HI,
There are a few tricks to goats milk, First I put the goats milk in a bowl in a sink of ice water.. then add lye slowly and stir the whole time.. this will keep it from turning dark at this stage.. THen I add titanium dioxide to the soap at the end to help keep it cream.. All my goats milk soap, minus the first oops batches were a pretty cream color.. not tan or orangy tan.
Hope that helps..

I used to make a oatmeal milk and honey bar.. best seller.. sweetcakes.com has the BEST F.O. 's and there a few of E.0's and it had gm , oatmeal and even real honey that makes it smell rotten until its cured.. LOL

I was thinking Olive Loaf.. LOL , and I never had success with a rebatch either

Hence where my chunk soap came in.. LOL chop up the soap and add to another batch.. unless its lye heavy
