I'm so sorry.

After having gone through it here, I can really feel for you. They can do the Rapid Test for Influenza A and if positive, then it's more likely than not that it's H1N1. If you go to the CDC website, you'll read that of the Influenza A's that were subtyped in recent weeks, 99% of them are H1N1. The cough is the killer. I've been over my fever for well over a week and still have that dang cough. I hope the kids are well soon and that the two of you don't catch it.

Thanks for the well wishes....

Amber, found WSP.... I do like their molds some of them are really neat but I think they'd do better with MP... I wanted to do some tube shapes to stick in my upright mold....

I saw a soap that had a cute heart in the center and it was a block of soap that you could cut to any length and still have the heart...

As I use 1/2 and 1/2 containers a tube shape would be perfect... I found some metal which means I would have to do MP for the center....

I might try WSP's slab mold as it is 3x3 which is the same as my containers and would still fit in the soap pockets this way I could try swirls as you all have me green with envy...

Well....ummm....my pencil line did not come out as a line. I just stirred it all back in...not sure how I'm going to like this bar. I skimped on the fo when I noticed the BB lab color was NOT the color it stated on the bottle as I was mixing...grrrrr. So I quick added green chromium oxide to the traced soap...I tried like mad to get it good an stirred in but still got the speckles. SO Lime coconut verbatim is probably a flop...not swirled OR pencil lined. SO I grated some plain ol soap and topped it on top and I'm hoping it turns out ok...I'll post photos tomorrow.

ON the other hand...I did a lavendar cedar with swirl in the pot and jojoba spheres and since I was in a topping mood I put some on this loaf also...I am pleased with it.

Photos tomorrow!!

Sorry to hear that Brandy! Which lab color were you using? I have the green apple and watermelon one, and they are kinda eh in my book. I find it hard to judge how much to use because the color gets much more intense when the soap gels, but in the pot they seem like there was no color at all. Fingers crossed that it still turns out

ETA: I have never used cedar before and wanted to do a lavender cedar blend too but does the cedar discolor the soap? The eo I have is a really pretty ruby red.

My lavendar cedar is a fo...and it sells and smells very well. I was using the green apple...and I did NOT shake it up...the colors actually separated in the jar. I noticed as I was pouring the color changed from yellow to blue...interesting...and the color was more BLUE. I added some oxide...I'll show how it turned out at slice time tomorrow. I'm ok with the color...but I'm noticing the lime verbatim is fading a little...wished I had used more. 150 flashpoint is really low so I'm really not feeling good about the scent staying.

Give it a little bit of time, it'll come back, though I'm not sure how much ppo you used. I used a little more than needed, 1 oz ppo, but that just because I used to make 4 pound batches and 8 ounces of fo.

I never knew it could seperate. Mine is a bright neon green. I'll see if I can get some pictures of that watermelon soap loaded. I really hope it turns out. Some times it'll surprise you!
