Brambleberry has a wonderful OMH fo. If you haven't tried it, you might want to. It was our number one top selling soap for many years. Made a beautiful light tan goat's milk soap. Smelled heavenly. I will post a pic as soon as I remember my password to get into photo bucket! LOL!!!

Very pretty. Still haven't gotten into photobucket and I have to get ready for work, so perhaps I can post mine later. Maybe I will just start a thread with my soap pics and people can just look at them if they want to or not.

Got in. OMH from start to finish.


Just poured.

BB Oatmeal Milk and Honey is my FAVORITE scent! Love it! My turns a darker tan beacuse I use a good amount of honey in it and the stuff I get from the farmer's market is really dark to start with. I can get a pale, creamy tan if I don't gel and don't use milk or honey.

ETA: Great picture Wise Woman! That is the final color of mine as well.

BTW...I made cucumber melon the other night. I can't remember if I posted the pre-picture here or the other thread, but it looked like layered sherbert the first time I made it.

This time I colored 1/2 the batch green and the other 1/2 orange and tried swirling. I was going to try molding the green half to "nest" the orange inside, sort of like a melon has a green outside, but for what ever reason didn't. Now I wish I tried it.

I cut two bars today to test it out; still needs to set a bit but I'm not sure I'm happy with the outcome. I'll take pictures of some better cut ones.

I really need to work on my swirls.

It's a PITA but at the moment I'm not about to buy one of them fancy cutters!

I did just get a wavy cutter and I love it!

Are you using a log mold? If you are, pour an inch or so thick layer in your green color and then take a pvc pipe and lay it into the green layer. Then once it sets up, remove the pvc and then pour another layer of your orange and it should get the desired effect. You can do this in one batch or two. It just depends on how good you are at judging how fast the soap is setting up.
