I don't have any notes of Golden Seal in soap.

Beet powder and hibiscus I have noted as going brown.

I haven't really used teas for some reason in soap so I don't have any notes on those either.

I was wondering if anyone here ever uses green tea in their soaps? It's suppose to be so good for you to drink that I wonder if it has good skin benefits too?

What is your favorite combination of EO's for bug repellent bars? I'm thinking citronella and tea tree or maybe lemongrass? I have other citrus oils as well. or balsam? hmmmm...

I have an open house at a campground on the 4th. I totally missed the boat on having a bug bar by then But I need one by farmers mkt time

I did a camper's bar. I used geranium, citronella, juniper berry and tea tree eo's and added ground juniper berries and a bit of yellow iron oxide for color.


Then while I had the equipment out, I did a cucumber melon in the pvc molds with a loofah. My first loofah bar.


ETA....I used kelp powder to color the melon bar...
