Does anybody have a recommendation for a book on essential oils? I would like to understand the "notes" and how to combine them. Thanks in advance.

Here is a question for those of you that make lotion.

Are their any on-line groups dedicated to lotion making that you are part of and that you would recommend?

I have a basic recipe that I really like and now want to work on a particular fragrance.

Would appreciate any help you can provide.

Did someone say that Bramble Berry gives free FO samples with your order? Do you have to ask for them? I got an order from them of Palm oil and there wasn't a sample.Of course, I didn't ask for one either. But how do you ask for one when you do an online order?

Also, I am trying to design a cigar label for my soaps. Anyone have any ideas where I can find pictures of goats. Google goat clip art was kind of a bust for me.

They give them wtih FO orders. Not sure about others as my orders always have FO.....

I'll keep looking through the clip art images. I don't like the cartoon-y ones.I'm looking for something that people will look at and think that it looks sweet and appealing.

I picked a basic outline of a goat standing up, nothing fancy but put it on a pretty background of a blue toile printed on a parchment looking paper. Hold on and I'll try to post an example....
Oh and I'm an Er nurse at work. The only reason I am up!! SSssSHHHH!! Don't tell my boss!

This sort of. I changed the font colors to make them more toned down and in the same tone as the blue

I'm going to try my first milk soap today...wish me luck. I'm glad that I read the recent posting where you have to melt all your oil to get it uniform...I didn't know that. I'm making Goat's Milk, honey and oatmeal soap.
